Ludmila Couture is known for working with a lot of celebrity clientele and stylists, as a result, we have a large variety of very unique leftover fabric and material we would like to give the purpose to. We are proud to say all our masks are handmade right here in LA. Our masks are not medical grade, they will provide some protection and also serve as a reminder not to touch your face. The average person touches their face up to 2000 times a day. This is simply a fashion accessory that provides a layer of protection but is not found to prevent the spread or contraction of COVID 19.
CDC is recommending people wear cloth face coverings when venturing out in public.
Face covering and face masks give us a degree of protection from sharing and contracting the illness when we are out in public. But they are dangerous for infants and young toddlers, and the American Academy of Pediatrics warns parents and guardians not to put them on any child under the age of 2 ever. Also, it is important to note that a face covering can be distracting to children older than 2 years old and cause them to touch their face more than usual. The guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests reconsidering the use of a cloth face mask when it causes your child to touch their face more frequently than when they are not wearing it.
